Agreement provides customers throughout Europe with quick access to PulseCoreâs EMI-suppression products.
Campbell, CA – August 11, 2008 –
PulseCore Semiconductor, a leading supplier of EMI-reduction integrated circuits (ICs), announced today that it has named The Spectrum Group as its sales and marketing representative in the pan-European market, allowing the company to strengthen its reach into a broader range of customers in the markets served.
Founded in the UK in 1994 as a specialized third-party representative for semiconductor firms, The Spectrum Group has charted consistent growth every year since its inception. Today, through its offices across Europe, the company serves a diverse customer base in the automotive, broadcasting, communications, industrial, medical, mobile computing, optical storage, and power-management industries.
ãOur customersâ designs require rapid introduction of the newest products and technologies available in the marketplaceä, said Nigel Watts, Group Managing Director at The Spectrum Group. ãPulseCore has developed analog integrated circuits that allow our customers to realize a versatile, predictable and deterministic approach to EMI suppression. Our goal is to quickly bring these types of innovative devices to market as enablers for our customersâ new products.ä
With its full range of custom, application-specific, and off-the-shelf ICs, PulseCore devices are already found in a variety of consumer electronics, mobile communications, and computer products around the world.
ãAt PulseCore, we provide an active analog integrated circuit approach to a problem that is traditionally solved with a passive solution,ä said Gene Schaeffer, Vice President Sales & Marketing. ãDesigners can eliminate the trial and error approach to EMI suppression by placing an IC on the clock or data path creating predictability and faster time to FCC approval. We are excited to have The Spectrum Group as our representative partner in Europe. Their experience and vast knowledge of the clock and timing market will aid us in educating the customer base about the benefits of taking an active approach to EMI reduction.ä
