Company, with development office in Bangalore, brings EMI expertise to consumer electronics, PC and telecom markets worldwide

 

Bangalore, India – February 15, 2007 – Today at a press conference, PulseCore Semiconductors introduced its product line and company executives to the Indian market.  PulseCore is one of the leading providers of standard and custom high-speed and low power analog and mixed-signal silicon solutions. The product offering spans EMI reduction, clocking, power management and system monitoring ICs. The company’s extensive line of high-performance clocking devices and system monitors are used by leading OEMs in the consumer electronics, PC peripheral, notebook and datacom / telecom markets among others.

PulseCore’s Bangalore operation oversees product development and support including IC Design, applications engineering, operations QA, product engineering, test engineering and production planning. With this setup, PulseCore is a model in high tech efficiency, to support the fast moving markets it plays in.

Company Background
PulseCore was founded in June, 1998 as a fabless Analog and Mixed Signal company built on its core technology of EMI reduction.

In 2002, PulseCore was acquired by Alliance Semiconductor and formed the Analog and Mixed-Signal business Unit of the company. In 2006, Alliance Semiconductor Corp. divested itself of all semiconductor operations and sold the Analog Mixed Signal Business Unit. The unit was acquired by Shah Capital Partners & August Capital and the company was re-christened as Pulse Core Semiconductors.
